Frumenty (wheat porridge)

(stewed wheat or wheat porridge)

Place 2 c. wheat and 4 c. water in crockpot (one friend puts it all in a pot on a brick on his woodstove overnight). Turn crockpot on low. Wake up to breakfast made!

Serve with peanut butter, yogurt, stewed apples, fruit sauces, dried fruit….. Holds for longer than oatmeal. Try it and you will see that you won\'t be
hungry until lunch.
